Global Grief

Global Grief is a series of community conversations where we witness each other's grief and confusion over confusing, upsetting and frightening aspects of our modern world and of being human. In these sessions, we will give each other space to process and grieve the complexities and losses we all share.

Columbine will host different subjects on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. Other topics for future conversations will include Climate Grief, Personal Loss, and Hate and Extremism. Please join us in creating a place to “lay it all down” and support each other through these confusing and difficult times.

To be alive in these times we are often horrified by the acts of brutality and injustice in the world around us. We also live each day with the knowledge that our human actions are creating an unsustainable environment for future generations to live in. In our personal lives, we suffer losses and regrets, fears and confusion and we wonder how to make sense of it all. How do we process our grief about the oppression, suffering, and loss that we live with?

Please join Rev. Jenny and Rev. Ruth Rinehart March 10th after our worship service at 11:30am in the Sanctuary and via Zoom for a community listening circle where we will create a space to process and grieve the complexities and losses we all share.
