Our Whole Lives

Our Whole Lives (OWL) is a comprehensive, lifespan sexuality education curriculum. OWL helps participants make informed and responsible decisions about their relationships, sexual health and behavior by providing accurate, developmentally appropriate information about a range of topics, including relationships, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, sexual health, and cultural influences on sexuality. For the 2025-26 year, Columbine UU Church is hosting OWL for 7th-9th Grade and 10th-12th Grade. Our trained facilitators have a combined 24 years of experience. See below for details about this year's OWL programs. Contact OWL@columbineuuchurch.org with any questions.

7th-9th Grade OWL

7th-9th Grade OWL will be a series of 3- or 6-hour Sunday sessions over the course of several months:

September 21: 1-7PM
October 5: 3-6PM
October 19: 3-6PM
November 2: 3-6PM
November 16: 3-6PM
December 7: 3-6PM
December 21: 3-6PM
January 4: 3-6PM
January 18: 1-7PM
February 1: 3-6PM
March 1: 3-6PM
March 15: 3-6PM

The cost of 7th-9th Grade OWL is $25 for Columbine UU Church members and $50 for non-members. This includes a snack for 3-hour sessions and a meal for 6-hour sessions.

10th-12th Grade OWL

10th-12th Grade OWL is a retreat in Shawnee, CO from

Friday, February 13th to Monday, February 16th.

The cost of 10th-12th Grade OWL is $50 for Columbine UU Church members and $100 for non-members. This price includes their housing and food for the weekend.
