Growing a Progressive Spiritual Community to Build a Just and Loving World

The Best Medicine

July 6, 2025 at 10 am

Leah Porter Tracy

What would our health look like if, when visiting the doctor, we were asked not “What’s the matter with you?” but “What matters to you?” How does a regular dose of time spent doing something meaningful affect our well-being? In this multigenerational service—based on data and stories gathered by journalist Julia Hotz—we'll explore the foundations of an emerging practice known as social prescribing and how its five pillars (movement, nature, art, service, and belonging) might fit into our busy lives. Join us for an interactive morning of creativity and connection, and discover (or rediscover) what matters to you. Led by our Director of Faith Exploration, Leah Porter Tracy.
