About the event
On Saturday, April 11th, our congregation will have the opportunity to participate in a training for Mental Health First Aid, a free, day-long program in which will you learn how to help someone who may be struggling. You do not need to be a member of CUUC to attend. Through this training, you’ll learn how to recognize, understand and respond to signs of mental health or substance use challenges — and offer the first level of support. The training (for 18+) will be provided by Marcus Elmore, a trained social worker and MHFA instructor. Please sign up beforehand with Deb Suzuki.
