Let us know you're coming
In addition to mailing your
registration and payment, please send an email
to
druvandoren@yahoo.com with the details of
your registration so we can be sure to properly
arrange meals and rooms seating. Indicate if
yours will be a full registration or for just
one of the evenings. We especially need to hear
about any dietary restrictions so we can plan
accordingly.
Hotel Reservations
The Denver Marriott South (Park
Meadows Drive just north of Lincoln Avenue, Lone
Tree) may still be able to accept your room
reservation at the special $79 conference rate.
Be sure to ask for the MDD rate when you call
them. Your room stay includes a continental
breakfast.
Sunday Morning Worship Service
The Sunday morning worship
service is open to all -- whether registered for
the Conference or not. This is a great
opportunity for metro-Denver area UUs to meet
others from throughout our district. Rev. Mike
Moran, Minister at First Unitarian Society of
Denver, will preach on the topic of "A Lover's
Quarrel - a look at the good, the bad, and the
ugly of liberal religion." Doors open at 8:45am,
with the service scheduled for 9:30-11:00 am.
The conference bookstore, vendors, and exhibitor
booths will be open from 8:00am-12:00noon,
including the opening exhibit of Reframing
Family -- the photo exhibit sponsored by First
Unitarian's "Just Marriage" congregational
project -- nearly 20 photographs showing that
"family" can be defined in many ways.
