- Rounding the Labyrs Smaller stones were used to round the labyrs radiating from the center and the petals in the central circle. Rounding the corners in this manner gives the labyrinth a softer look, consistent with the circular and feminine theme. Labyr is believed to be the root of the word labyrinth. When seen from above, the labyrs create a cruciform or cross shape. |
