Welcome!
If you are looking for a church in which to connect to your fellow humans in meaningful ways, raise your children with values that will sustain them in a complex world and, together, experience the spiritual mystery of our awesome universe, you have come to the right place.

At Columbine UU, we are engaged in some of the "great work" that helps us place our lives in sacred context.

  • We are striving to be a beacon of liberal religious light in a conservative age and proudly uphold the traditions and principles of Unitarian-Universalists (read more about UUs).

  • We promote and practice a whole earth, interfaith perspective.

  • We believe all peoples of our beautiful earth come from a common ancestry, that we are all related, that we are linked together as one in the interconnected web of existence.

  • We strive to create an environment where anyone, from any background, can feel comfortable exploring their spiritual path.

  • Together we share our journey of exploration toward a deeper understanding of the big questions of life:

    • Where did we come from?

    • What is our purpose for being on this planet at this time?

    • What happens to us when we die?

    • Is there a God? If so, what is his/her nature?

    • How do we transcend our fears to celebrate our here and now lives?

At CUUC we are building an environment where everyone is encouraged to believe and speak as they uniquely do, while simultaneously promoting close, enduring community. We are successful most of the time, and we deeply honor the differences among us. It takes commitment and work to create authentic spiritual community.
